The aim of this course is to support childminders and early years staff to feel confident in working with parents to best support children.
The 2 hour training session includes exploration of the key elements of working in partnership with parents, how to use reflective listening and attending skills and ways to communicate concerns to parents. There will be practical activities to enable practitioners to feel confident in communicating with parents.
By the end of the training participants will be able to:
