Introduction to the English Curriculum: Teaching primary science

Have you been teaching in another country? Are you new to the English curriculum?


If you are overseas trained, this course will give you an overview of the aims of the primary science curriculum in England.


This course will be delivered by an experienced teacher and mathematics / science adviser Sam Webber. Sam will cover the expectations, pedagogy and assessment of the primary science curriculum, including working scientifically. Sam will share with you lots of ideas and resources that you will support your teaching.


You will have a deeper understanding of how working scientifically fits into the primary curriculum.
You will come away with an understanding of the expectation and assessment at a primary level.
You will be given a set of course notes which will support you back in the classroom.
