If you are overseas trained, this course will give you an overview of the aims of the secondary mathematics curriculum in England.

Description

This course will be delivered by an experienced secondary teacher and mathematics / science adviser Sam Webber. Sam will cover the expectations, pedagogy and assessment of the secondary mathematics curriculum, including working mathematically. Sam will also share with you where you can access free resources and more information to support your teaching of mathematics.

Outcomes

You will have a deeper understanding of how working mathematically fits into the secondary curriculum.
You will come away with an understanding of the expectation and assessment at a seconday level.
You will be given a set of course notes which will support you back in the classroom.
