This course will be split in 2 parts,
Part 1, This training is accredited by the Home Office and includes an introduction to Prevent, how it is relevant to the Early Years and some practical steps to implementation. Part 2. How British values relate to an Early Years setting.
Part 1, The training will look at:
Part 2, . Understand the meaning of British values and how to promote them in your EY setting
- The National and Local Prevent Context,
- Understanding risk and vulnerability
- Relating this to Early Years setting
- Implementing the Prevent Duty within an Early Years framework.
At the end of this training, participants will be able to evidence an understanding of:
Part 2 . How to evidence the work you do in your setting to British values
- Prevent and the wider counter-terrorism agenda
- How this relates to the children and families in Early Years
- The signs and symptoms of vulnerability to radicalisation
- Steps to take for intervention
- The link with British Values
This course is charged at £10 per delegate. However if you do not attend or cancel once booked you will be charged an additional administration fee of £30
