Improve your individual and organisational responses to Sexual Violence – training opportunities

Rape Crisis London will deliver two training courses for local provider services. Training delivered by Rape Crisis South London is directly informed by their experience providing specialist support to survivors of sexual violence over the past three decades. The two one-day trainings on offer are tailored for youth workers, teachers, social workers, or any professionals working with sexual violence. We cover: the myths and realities of sexual violence; information about the law surrounding rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and consent; the impacts of trauma caused by rape and childhood sexual abuse; and a model of best practice on how to respond to disclosures of sexual violence sensitively and appropriately
